In January 2022, the giclee print version of my first NFT "Moonbathing" (a collaboration with IRL artist Robert Beckinsale) won the coveted "Artrepreneur People's Choice Award" in the digital art category.
In Sept. 2022, I was invited to a new platform "Private Museum" and spent the next month preparing artwork for them. 3 collections have now been minted and can be viewed at: https://www.privatemuseum.art/artist/monique-oliver
In Oct. 2022, I received a coveted invitation to the high profile NFT platform "Makers Place" and will be minting my next collection there early in 2023.
I first heard about NFT's (Non-Fungible Tokens) in the summer of 2020 and couldn't wait to find out more about them. If you've never heard of NFT's before...googly them, because it's a lot to wrap your head around! Having been interested in cryto-currency since 2018, I was always more curious about the underlying technology of the blockchain because I recognised it as a game-changer and I wanted in! However, I had to put all of that on the back-burner as I was part-way through my subscription program which would evolve into the FAM and that project, along with several others, demanded most of my attention.
Fast forward to 2021 and the latest Covid lockdown and the NFT space has literally exploded. I'm literally beside myself with excitement and have taken on the alias of "QueenNFTT" (see what I did there:)) while I immerse myself in the digital space. I'm taking the opportunity to push the boundaries of my current process through the medium of motion-graphics and animation which I've been experimenting with for around 8 months.
I received an invitation to the Foundation Community - and my first NFTs are now LIVE at:
