The Chinese have a term - "Barbaric Growth" - for things growing in a "rapid, wild and uncontrolled way" and the saying provided the perfect inspiration for this series.  Combining several signature techniques, these original paintings are available in a variety of sizes on both standard and gallery-wrapped deep edged canvas.

Each piece is signed to the reverse, to allow it to be hung to your preference. On  gallery wrap canvas (no visible staples to front or sides) the painting is finished with an isolation coat and 3-4 layers of varnish to protect it from dust, grime and UV light.
